Velie Marginella

Shell size to 14 mm. Shell elongate for genus, surface smooth. Spire about 1/5 shell length. Suture distinct. Aperture narrower posteriorly, outer lip bent in middle. Columella with four folds. Color amber to light yellow. The shell in the main image is from Sanibel, supplementary images represent shells from Tampa Bay.
