Bunche Beach Walks
Bunche Beach Walks are cancelled until further notice.
Join Museum Science Director & Curator Dr. José H. Leal for a low tide excursion into the wide, sandy expanse of San Carlos Bay/Bunche Beach Preserve! Dedicated in 1949, the 718-acre tidal wetland is a pristine example of Southwest Florida’s “back bay” coastal ecosystems. At low tides its shallow slope allows for terrific observation of mollusks and other marine life.
Location:
18201 John Morris Rd. Fort Myers, FL 33931
