Dosinia-like Lucine

Shell size to 17 mm; shell circular to slightly oblique-oval in outline; with weak commaginal ("concentric") sculpture, sometimes with a hint of faint radial ribs on the centro-posterior part of the external shell surface; margin denticulate within. Color white, with eventual pale yellow tinges. Species first recorded on Sanibel in 1998 by Dr. John D. Taylor of the Natural Hsitory Museum (London).
