These are the scallops (family Pectinidae) that may be found on the shores of Southwest Florida: 1 – Atlantic Calico Scallop (Argopecten gibbus); 2 – Bay Scallop (Argopecten irradians); 3 – Ravenel’s Scallop (Euvola raveneli); 4 – Zigzag Scallop (Euvola ziczac); 5 – Rough Scallop (Lindapecten muscosus); 6 – Northern Lion Paw (Nodipecten fragosus).
