Facility Rental

The aquariums and galleries of the Museum offer a unique and memorable setting for private events.

Flexible space options for groups of up to 125 can accommodate cocktail parties, meetings, and celebrations such as birthday, retirement, and engagement parties. While the Museum does not have a catering kitchen, small dinners are also possible.

Birthday Parties

Shell-ebrate birthdays at the Museum!

Offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30am or 12:30pm. Two-hour parties offered.

What’s included:

  • Choice of a Shell Museum adventure: Mollusk Mission (aquarium scavenger hunt), Shell Detectives (Great Hall of Shells scavenger hunt), or Shell Storytime;
  • Choice of a craft activity: Slime Time (make and take home a jar of slime!), Dosinia Decorating, or Octo-Arm Art;
  • Time for pizza and desserts;
  • Museum-provided goodie bag for the birthday child

The Museum does not provide food for birthday parties.

Pricing:

  • Standard (10 children, 4 adults): $300/$270 for Museum Members
  • Premium (20 children, 4 adults): $425/$395 for Museum Members

Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance.
